Our team offers a wide range of services to children and adults. Our staff members work within their own realm of expertise and can work together as a multidisciplinary team when assessing or providing therapy for complex clients.
Speech-Language Pathology
- Assess for language, speech, voice, resonance, fluency and swallowing disorders
- Create supports in everyday environments to build successful communication skills
- Counsel clients and families about communication disorders
- Problem-solve to develop alternate means of communication for non-verbal clients using technology and creative solutions
- Coach families, caregivers and others to learn and use strategies to help clients succeed
Occupational Therapy
- Assess for feeding, sensory, or cognitive difficulties.
- Provide support with barriers that affect a person's emotional, social, and physical needs such as developing fine motor skill, improving eye–hand coordination, mastering basic life skills such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing teeth, and self-feeding, learning positive behaviors and social skills by practicing how to manage frustration and anger.
- Recommend equipment to help build independence.
Psychology and Counselling
- Assess, diagnose and treat a range of problems, conditions and disorders
- Provide therapy or counselling
- Perform psychological assessments and make treatment recommendations
- Help patients cope with pain, difficult situations, chronic conditions or illness
- Promote mental wellness
Dietitian Services
- Assess for nutrition-related problems
- Support and education for families and individuals for a variety of different nutrition concerns.
